PICA Membership

PICA’s membership has evolved from editors of insurance company “house organs” to full-range communicators for insurance companies (both p/c and life/health), trade associations, service organizations and more. PICA members communicate in print and in cyberspace, and are responsible for a wide variety of marketing and communications functions in their organizations.

Membership Types
  • FULL – Full members are communicators employed by member companies of PICA’s parent organization, the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC). Single and Corporate memberships are available. Corporate membership is defined as more than one individual located at the same address.
  • ASSOCIATE – Associate members are communicators from insurance companies who are not associated with NAMIC. Single and Corporate memberships are available. Corporate membership is defined as more than one individual located at the same address.
  • AFFILIATE – Affiliate members are other non-company, insurance-related organizations (i.e., trade associations, trade publications, agencies, service agencies, etc.) This category is a Single membership only.
  • PROFESSIONAL – Professional members are non-company service providers whose clientel includes, but is not limited to, insurance companies or organizations (i.e., vendors, private contractors, service organizations, etc.) This category is a Single membership only. Professional members have no voting privileges in the organization.
