PICA’s membership has evolved from editors of insurance company print publications to full-range communicators for insurance companies (both p/c and life/health), trade associations, service organizations and more. PICA members communicate in print and in cyberspace, and are responsible for a wide variety of marketing and communications functions in their organizations.

Membership Types

  • FULL – Full members are communicators employed by insurance companies only. Single and Corporate memberships are available. Corporate membership is defined as more than one individual located at the same address. Annual single membership dues are $275 and corporate dues are $325.
  • AFFILIATE – Affiliate members are other non-company, insurance-related organizations (i.e., trade associations, trade publications, agencies, service agencies, etc.) This category is a Single membership only, with annual dues of $300.

NETWORKING AND PICA - Whether you meet face-to-face at the annual workshop or exchange publications and correspond by mail or e-mail, we've found sharing between PICA members is one of the organization's most valuable benefits. Not only will you learn from the practical experiences of others, but the formation of new relationships and exchange of ideas provide a network of new information and valuable resources you'll find nowhere else.

PICA's membership directory provides information and a personal autobiographical introduction on each member. You'll feel comfortable in making contact with people who work in the same environment, using similar resources.

PICA is a resource center just for insurance communicators. Our membership roster includes many award-winners who have literally "learned their trade" attending PICA workshops and working with other PICA members.

PICA is unique among communication organizations and the insurance industry.
